Redbear : Portraying a mountainman,
he hunts, then tans the hides. He also makes his own knives and tools, such as his antler knives and bone handle awls.
Redbear also shoots and teaches blackpowder safety.
Linda is of Cherokee descent. Thus her camp name of Spirit Talker. Bringing in
the Native American aspect of Spirituality, she is an oracle, and does readings at many events. She also shoots modern
revolvers.
Ed, whose camp name is Tombstone, portrays from vikings, to cowboy, to Viet Nam. He
does blacksmithing, and has done handblown glass in necklaces and earrings.
He is our critic, who keeps all of us period correct. If you have questions about history
talk to Ed.
Todd, whose camp name is Scrod, is our botanist. Amazing the food all around us just
waiting to be found. He also does his own hides, and some blacksmithing, but I personally think his forte is cast iron
cooking.
Brandon, who is Todd's son, is a medieval magician/juggler. Very talented and fun to
watch (but check your pockets) Seriously, Brandon is quite versatile, portraying medieval magician to native american,
and does demonstrations from magic to throwing knives and tomahawks.
Ethan whose camp name is Fox, is the youngest. He knows the furs, and something about
everything around the camp. Old for his age, in the responsibilities he carries out, especially when it comes to setting
up, or tearing down camp.
Jacob, whose camp name is Little Bear, is another who is older than his years. He is
a dead eye with the tomahawk and even gives Red Bear a run for his money. Sometimes he runs the tomahawk demonstrations
at the shows we go to, helping others sharpen their skills.
Kathy whose camp name is Dreamweaver, is a Native American cultural interpreter. Still
new to re-enacting, but learning the history and traditions of the medicinewoman. Also learning crystal healing, and
some botany.
Ed whose camp name is Edward, is the newest. He is an up and coming trapper/trader,
who with scout tours this last fall got quite a bit of experience demonstrating cleaning hides.
For couples considering marriage, Todd and Kathy are both ordained ministers, and licensed
by the state to perform weddings. Modern ceremonies, as well as period can be adapted for your personal needs, for
a small donation of $50.00.
